Refund & cancellation policy
How to cancel a plan or a promotion, when we refund, and how long the money takes to come back.
Who this applies to
Najik is free for people using it to find things nearby. There is no charge to download the app, browse your feed, save posts or follow a business. We never ask a consumer for payment, so nothing on this page applies to you.
This policy covers business subscriptions only — the paid plans a shop or service takes to list and promote itself on Najik. Registering a business is free; the subscription is what unlocks the paid features.
Cancelling a subscription
- You can cancel at any time from your business dashboard.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep every paid feature until then.
- We do not refund part of a period that has already started. If you cancel three months into a year, the plan runs to the end of that year rather than being refunded for the remaining nine.
- You can resubscribe later; cancelling does not delete your listing.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, so a paid listing does not go dark without warning.
We email you before each renewal charge, to the address on the account. You can cancel any time before that date from your business dashboard and the renewal will not be taken.
When we refund
Subscription payments are not refundable simply because you changed your mind, including on a first purchase. We refund where the charge itself was wrong:
- If we got it wrong. If you were charged in error, charged twice, charged after cancelling, or a paid feature did not work and we could not fix it, we refund in full.
- Promotions already delivered. Once a promoted or featured post has started running it has been delivered, so it is not refundable for the days it has already been shown. If it failed to run at all, we refund it.
- Accounts suspended for breaking the terms. Not refundable.
None of this affects any right you have under Indian law that cannot be excluded.
How to ask for a refund
Write to support@najik.in from the email address on the account, with the invoice number and what went wrong. We reply within 2 working days.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method — UPI, card or netbanking — through our payment provider. Banks usually take 5 to 7 working days to show the money, and we cannot make that faster.
Refunds are made of the full amount charged, including GST. Where GST was charged on the original invoice we issue a credit note against it, so a GST-registered business can adjust its input tax credit.
